Hi all, I've been noticing 2 printers, and was wondering if they were the same:

Francois-Charles Oberthur Fiduciaire
Oberthur Technologies

François-Charles Oberthur (FCO) now Oberthur Fiduciaire is a subsidiary of Oberthur Technologies they make the machines and Fiduciaire prints the notes.
So not really a duplicate and more of a false entry (or there was a time they actually used the name for all there operations .... couldn't find a banknote with their imprint).

Right, so like the name change from Thomas de la Rue to De la Rue? Older notes will have the FCO mark and the newer notes OF or just O.

We have in the file creation list two same printers:

(J'ai dans la liste de création de fiches deux imprimeurs:)

-Francois-Charles Oberthur Fiduciaire (FCOF), France
et
-Oberthur Fiduciaire (Oberthur Technologies), France (1984-présent)

Is there a difference between these two? If not is it possible to remove one?

Basically, the same company changing name over time since 1984.

Both merged and various names added as alternative names. All banknotes moved accordingly.
Sapientiae plerumque stultitia est comes.

L'affichage est bon de mon côté mais c'est possible, certains changements peuvent prendre un peu plus de temps pour être finalisés/affichés correctement partout.

Un exemple de page en particulier ?

Ah ben oui je les avais oublié ceux-là :D

Pour le moment j'ai changé l'affichage en "Oberthur Fiduciaire" pour ceux-là. Je corrigerai pour ces billets plus tard dans la journée et fusionnerai le tout.
