... except the metal is definitely not brass, it looks a lot like Cupro-nickel.
It does have a hole in it with a small ring inserted. Is it a replica? why would anyone make a replica of such a small coin? Any other ideas of what it might be?

I guess this sort of thing comes up a lot. For some reason it never occurred to me people actually plate coins for jewellery making. Now I know what to do with my bags full of swedish öre coins
