what is the command to search for coins without series? I remember there is a way to specify such condition
It should be the key word 'missing' but the first hit has a series so I don't know if it works for that field.

I believe you're right. "Missing" works. The ones that say they have a series don't really have one (i.e. no linked series of all the coins in it).

For example, the first in the list has the word "Series" if the event field but the series field in blank.

Yes, use the keyword "missing".
The first result has the series indicated in the field for commemorated event. So technically it doesn't have a series.

Yes, I changed it (and another) now.
They will no longer appear in that search.
There are seven coins now with that Series.

Just a thought, what is entered in the Series box if say you DO want
to find any coin (in your collection) that IS part of any series?
· Rather than go through series after series, changing the name each time,
would like to enter one word that finds all.
· So that maybe others can be found that are not currently added to a series.

· Example that at the time it was known there were say 12 coins in a series - but so far,
at that date of creation, there were only 7 pages made, then an occasional
search could be made to see if any of the missing 5 pages were now also added.

· Edit: After typing that, I tried various words without any result, but just * seems to work.
Is that alright, or is there something else instead?

Yes, entering * should find any coin with a series.
Thought so - thanks for confirming.
I used it quite a few times this morning and found
more pages that I now added to existing series.

Indeed - until recently when * now says 'No results found'

so now hidden below that drop-down box I already marked 'My collection: in' and
can no longer search for all coins I have that are part of a series - I could last week.
