This is my first post. I may have a mint error. A 1982 Hong Kong 10 Cents piece. Notice the virtual absence of the 2 in the year, the C from Cents, the weakness of the 10, and the unusual variance in the character below the date.

Your coin is heavily used, and I would think that what you think might be a variety is nothing else than a PDM (Post Mint Damage).

General circulation wear and tear. The metal is a bit softer on these coins as the wear far quicker than the earlier issues.
