From my understanding, it has its own "reference code" system that is fixed and not ever changing, right? (references like bbcv...).
But it is a gathering of information from own research and third-parties catalogues/references/etc. based on "Fair use"; doesn't mean it's always used with agreement from owners. Perhaps you can contact him to have more info on this first. You can transfer me PMs.
For sure, images from this website cannot be used.

It is intended to be stable. In several years I haven't noticed changes other than new sub-types.

I haven't received a response from my communication attempt, but are the terms of service on the site. Are these sufficient?

Correct. The terms cover this. Like Numista many of the images are copyright by other parties.
While looking a bit more into it, I'm wondering how this could integrate within our references. I noticed there is a system but that the code is changing depending on the issuer (i.e. bbcv, bbd, bdc, bcd, etc.).

I didn't find conflicting NCV codes either in main references.
Still looking into the separate path for automatic link and will add after solving this.

Thank you for the effort you put into trying to make it work.
It's sad to see it go, I learned quite a bit from it and had more to learn. I can use an archived version on the wayback machine, but that's much slower.
I hope your linking work can be saved in case it comes back and gives an indication of being stable.
Indeed, it seemed a good and somewhat extensive database.
Perhaps just a temporary problem, I'll check from time to time if it comes back and if it is stable.

The site came back fairly soon. I've been checking it weekly since then and it has always been present. Two new banknotes were added in the past week so it is being maintained.
Can this be reopened? The site was missing temporarily, but after that it has always been present when I've visited. And it is active, the last post was yesterday.
