Russian Military Medal Ads [Risolto]

Why have I been seeing on Numista lately advertisements for Katz Auctions which seem to be nothing other than for Russian Military medals? I never recall seeing them before here but they've been constant for about the past week. Just asking...

Maybe because the word 'Russia' is a hot topic on Google Analytics?

That is because Katz has an upcoming phaleristics auction. Various items (medals, awards, badges, etc.) from various countries (Russia, Argentina, North Korea, Congo, Austria, etc.).

If you stay on the page, the ad will fade in with new items after couple seconds and you'll have other items.

Katz Auction is one of the advertisers on Numista. The banner shows a selection of their next auction. Most of their auctions are for coins and paper money, but they sometimes have phaleristic auctions, which is the case of their next auction. Since Katz is based in Czech Republic, they offer mainly (but not only) material from there and neighbour countries.

Russia and USSR medals were highlighted because they currently have the highest bid in the current auction.
Katz accepted to adjust their sorting, so that the banner now better reflects the variety of items they offer.
