The page for the coin has two types listed for it: Normal with 13k and proof for 2k. Idk if I own the proof coin or not. Thanks in advance!

It is better to crop pictures so that people can see the coins better, but from the picture you provided I think it is not a proof coin.

Here you go, had to remove them from the box for better results.

Also, I know that the Royal Mint logo is missing and I understand that some of you may assume that it isn't a proof coin because of it. It did had the logo but when I tried to clean the rust stains it got removed unfortunately. I didn't expect it to be washed off when I did it but the damage is done.

So, note to self: never do this ever again :)

Here's what it looked like before:

Not proof, especially on your second picture with all the scratch marks across it.

Here is what a proof of the same coin and year looks like >

Thanks! The seller lied then lol. Seller claimed that it's proof but I was sceptical about it so I asked them if it is proof and asked for the COA, seller says yes it is proof and says that they ditched the note that came along with it, which I assume is the COA. But, hey atleast I still own a low mintage coin :)

Thanks again! My coin has mirror finish like look and the coin is detailed like the lines of the leafs are detailed. Are there any mint marks or anything that could tell it isn't proof?

2nd question: I assume you're from the UK so I might as well ask it here lol: how much does 1 crown worth today post-decimalization? Since it came with a free commemorative Churchill crown since I also list the face value of the coins I have when I input them into my numista collection.

Thank you very much kind sir for your help!

 A pre-decimal Crown was ¼ of a Pound.

1 Pound = 20 Shillings = 240 Pennies so a Crown was 5 Shillings.

After decimalisation where 1 Pound = 100 Pence i.e. New Pence then

the same ¼ of a Pound made them 25 New Pence - as in this example >

So a crown today would be 25p? Thanks again!

The crown-sized coins were, after a while, changed to 5 Pounds value.

Ok, thank you!

Lastly, using the UK as an example, the 25 Pence coins were from and to >

1972 N#5982

1981 N#3076

Then after that the same size [38.61mm] were given 5 Pounds value >

1990 N#19058

2022 N#307796

Not sure if any were issued 1982 to 1989 years. I searched just now and did not find any.

Thanks for the info! So basically my Churchill commemorative would have a face value of 25p today?

Yes. When it was issued it was 5 Shillings >

As for the eight-year gap between issuing crown-sized coins, it would be

unthinkable to the modern-day Royal Mint management. Such a loss of revenue

from ripping off the public with their over-priced merchandise. 😒
