When we are on a principal page of the Numista catalog (coins, banknotes and exonumia), the format of dates we see for the three assumptions that exist (ND -No date-, ND 1937 and Date specified) is this:

The case of specific date (third case in the picture) for me does not need any change.

In the other two first cases of the image (as shown when you open the individual page)

My proposal would be to see it in the boxes marked below, ND in the first case and ND (1937) in the second case

I think this proposal could improve the understanding of the pages and avoid, in the case of ND, having that gap between the title and the type of banknote or currency, as it can give the feeling that information is missing.

Let me know your opinion ;)

I don't see any reason to change the second case in the pictures either. To have (1937) works perfectly find for a ND (1937). But maybe a ND could be shown in the first case, since it's a little weird to just leave the year blank (even though it, in fact, is blank).

Yes, I agree that the first case of ND is perhaps clearer, but in the second, seeing only the date between parentesis may not be understood, if ND (1937) is added I think it would be clearer.

I agree that ND, and ND (1937) would be clearer.

‘ND’ should only be used when the date is totally unknown.

‘ND (Year X)’ should be used when it is undated - but the date is known.

Hi, any news it this feature could be implemented or you prefer as it is now?

Of course, the day & month sections should be changed to read the whole month name, not just the first 3 letters.

Instead of ‘Feb 3’, it should be ‘3 February’ followed by the year.

Hello,

The search result page now shows “ND” instead of just blank (except for ancient coins).
