Mystrry post in website section

This last week I have been having a mystery unread message in the website section. After having ticked “all read” the count of unread messages goes to 0 but after a while goes back to 1 without any unread message being visible on the first page.

Same here.  I decided to track it down.  Showed up on the 32nd page but the last post was dated June 2021.

Doesn't only happen in de Website section, also happens in other sections.

Could be either deleted spam or numista-robot auto-locking threads.

sounds plausible, but then it should not be marked as an unread message

so still a bug I guess

I just checked today on your account BramVB.

You had 2 unread topics on the forum “Numista website”. One of them was a recent topic, which you probably didn't read yet, and the other was an old topic. A spammer posted on that old topic a few days ago, hence marking the topic as non-read. When the spam message was deleted, the topic was still flagged as non-read. This is the current normal behaviour, although I agree it's not ideal.

Clicking the button “All read” sets back the count of unread messages to 0.
