Their coins or banknotes that may interest me: 0 ?

I had a swap offer yesterday and saw this message in my partner's profile

Just for the fun of it I had a look on his double coins and I found 12!!!!!

So the message in the profile is quite misleading, since it obviously is 100% oriented to coin type collectors and not at all for collectors collecting by year? My future partner is into euro coins, so of course we have the same types, but not the same years.

Is it possible to get the proper information or at least an extra line, saying something like “This might not be true for year collectors”.

It's quite simple actually: leave “I wish that coin” ticked as long as you don't get all the wished years/modifications.

No, no - in your profile and then it'll show among his coins for swaps, although you'll as well get hits that will be of no interest if you own a specific year/variety. 

It really depends on what your wish criteria are and your settings.

Right now you get many false negatives but the other settings will give you false positives but you can filter those with 'Show only coin and banknote years/varieties I don't own'.

Thanks a lot everybody, but this has not helped me any further. In the “settings” I don't find your recommended settings, so please be more specific?
