Why is the robot not asked to delete those subjective evaluations on both sites, like:
rare
very rare (très rare)
extremely rare (extremement rare)
scarce

Done. No need to go through forum for this as these are basic mintage line comments, you can submit a basic modification request on your own for such update in the future.

Problem is, you cannot submit a modification request to remove a comment in the French catalog from the English side. You have to open the coin page in the French catalog to do it which isn't intuitive for a coin from the Philippines. An alternative is to add a blank comment on the English side (" ") to hide the French comment and the French can keep the comments they like.

And the other way is the same, you cannot delete an English comment from the French page. Same goes for any content on a page.
When (fr) or (en) precedes a comment this means the comment is on the other language version so it is hard to be more precise/direct. (Same goes for coin descriptions and general comment if empty in one language and not in the other one the (fr)/(en) precedes the text)
Either there is a comment or there is nothing but the (" ") shall not be used. If there is a comment in one language it should rather be translated.
If it is useless it just needs to be removed.

I agree. Just stating the case, that for the average (English side) member wanting to submit a basic modification to remove a useless comment on the French side they won't be able to do it.
Then you have a bad opinion of the average Numista user's capabilities 😂. You can simply change the language and click on the same buttons and fields like the English version or if you have a really bad short term memory just go to the change site and substitute the ‘en.’ with ‘fr.’.
Or those theoretical Numista users wouldn't give a damn about a little French and if they do contribute as much as they always do anyway … nothing (that is statistically true on average 😤).
