The drop down list to select a reference catalogue has been updated, with a dynamic selection field, similar to the selection of issuers, rulers, etc. The change impacts the catalogue search form and the pages to add or modify a page of the catalogue.
The main reason for the change is that the list of reference catalogues became too long, causing performance issues. With this change, the catalogue search page and the catalogue edition pages should load faster. For example, the browser of my mobile phone doesn't freeze anymore when modifying a coin page.
Another benefit is that the details of the catalogue are visible directly next to the code and you can filter not only by code but also by author, publisher and title of the catalogue. This will help when you don't know the code of a catalogue.
