Ruler pages

Pubblicazioni di 8 • visto 155 volte

Hello,

Similar to the pages about mints, Numista now has individual pages for each ruler in the catalogue.

See for example Queen Victoria, Emperor Augustus, Emperor Taizong, and Holy Roman Emperor Charles VI.

The full list of rulers is visible here: all rulers.

The pages use data from Wikidata for the pictures, the date and place of birth and death and for the short description.

Nice little feature.

Just on thing, right now it says ‘Dead in’ … I think 'Died in' would be the correct words.

Thank you, I edited that.

Nice feature! Is it plan to put the list beside the mint, shape and others?

It is already there for Coins and Banknotes:

And why not in Exonumia?

Always look on the bright side of life!

For most objects in exonumia, rulers are irrelevant.

In my opinion, rulers should be listed only for counter tokens, patterns, and a few medals that are clearly associated with a ruler. Other exonumia items (business tokens, tourist medallions, etc.) should not list a ruler.

I was thinking mainly in Micronation where we can identify the ruler.

By exemple for Molossia we can add President Kevin Baugh (1999 -)
