Continent Maps

Basically this is suggesting that there should be more maps that feature each of the 7 continents along with the existing world map. Now how would this be helpful? Let's say you're trying to get each coin/banknote from Oceania but by just looking at the world map it can be hard for some people to spot these small island nations. I know there's the filter for the countries you don't have but if you're also missing from other continents other than Oceania then there can be confusion as to if that country is in Oceania or not. Also it just seems fun to look through your own continent, I'm sure I'm not the only one who likes to see what countries I have from the world map.

I agree that adding more maps is a good idea, but for a while you can use the feature which you could have missed so far: on the right side of your dashboard, below the map, there is the “maximize” button. When you click it, the same map opens in a new window or tab. The URL address of that new window contains a number which indicates map size in pixels (it is automatically selected according to the size of your screen). Now you are free to change that number to a larger one. My result is as follows:

I was aware of the maximize button but I had no idea you could change the number to get your prefered map size. That was a surprise. Anyway, thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it.

This is the start of an awesome idea. What would make this very useful to me would be a few things. 

1. Built in ability (buttons, sliders) to zoom the map instead of having to fiddle with the URL
2. SVG maps so it doesn't look jank when you zoom
3. Ability to isolate regions from the broader heat map of colors. For example, when I look at Africa, it's all blue and green because my collection is dominated by Europe and the Americas. So if I want to see where the holes are in my collection, it would be beneficial to be able to look at Africa with its own heat map, making the countries with fewer items more noticeable.
