2,009 of August's new members selected a nation. 122 nations are represented this month. 398 are American, 286 are French, 154 are British, 124 are Indian, 109 are Filipino, and 71 are Canadian.
There were notable surges in memberships from Australia, Belgium, Chile, Guernsey, Jamaica, Kuwait, Oman, Pakistan and Tunisia.
Afghanistan, Algeria, American Samoa, Ascension Island, Bahrain, Barbados, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Ecuador, El Salvador, Fiji, Ghana, Gibraltar, Guadeloupe, Iraq, Isle of Man, Ivory Coast, Lesotho, Mali, Namibia, New Caledonia, Nicaragua, Niger, Reunion, South Korea, Sudan, Tanzania, Thailand and Uruguay each gained one new member.
Pakistan passed Ukraine for 24th rank.
Of the top 30 nations, Pakistan grew the fastest in August (2.7% increase), while Portugal grew the slowest (0.6%). The USA grew by 1.1% and France grew by 1.1%.
