I just noticed that "Welt-Münzkatalog 19. Jahrhundert" from Schön and Kahnt, 16th edition 2014 is missing. I could not add the Schön # as reference for the 19th century coin.

ISBN: 9783866460904

thanks

If it a Schön you can always add Schön#, also isn't it this one but newer?

Helmut Kahnt, Günter Schön; 2016. Weltmünzkatalog / 19. Jahrhundert: 1801-1900 (17. Auflage). Battenberg Gietl Verlag, Regenstauf, Germany.

You are right, it's this one. But somehow when I want to add the reference # for a coin I can't find this catalog in the dropdown menu. 🤨 I just see the ones for the 20th and for the 18th century.

There are only Schön# containing 3 books (19th-21st century) and Schön DM# (18th century) and you can only list one example, like for KM it's the 21st century book.

Well, that's what I can see:

If that includes the catalogs for 18th and 19th century, then I just can't see that. Actually for some coins there different reference # in Schön catalogs for 19th and 20th century. This concerns some (few) coins around 1900 that are listed in both catalogs. If it is not possible to distinguish between both catalogs it is not possible to inert both numbers and it's not possible to know from which catalog the number is taken.

Yes, the new catalog selection doesn't show all the volumes with the same keyword. For KM it only shows one of the volumes.

I have also been bothered by the combination of Schön and Kahnt/Schön. There are many cases where coins are in both books and have different numbers. (In my personal catalog I use Schön# and Kahnt#.)

I changed the theme of the thread to “reporting a bug” because I think it is not as it should be.

Hello,

My initial implementation for the dropdown box was showing only the first volume, and adding “etc.” to indicate that there are other volumes.

I realize this was still confusing, so the dropdown box doesn't show any volume name in case the same catalogue code covers multiple volumes.
