Image Upload Error

I am getting this error when trying to upload images

The picture of the obverse must be in JPEG format. (image/png)
The picture of the reverse must be in JPEG format. (image/png)

This document states that files can be .jpg, .png, or .gif.

Am I doing something wrong, or is that document incorrect?

Which format do you try to upload?

Images for coin pages must be .jpg format.  The error that you got The picture of the obverse must be in JPEG format. (image/png) says this and that you tried to upload a .png format picture. You must convert it to .jpg format first.

Note that images uploaded to your own coins and in forum posts can be .jpg, .png, or .gif, which is why that document discusses .jpg, .png and .gif file types.

Only JPG pictures are allowed for the photos of the obverse, reverse, edge, and watermark in the catalogue.
PNG images are allowed on the forum, in the outings sections, and in the comments of the catalogue.
