Changing the British Trade Dollar to a New Issuer

Greetings,

Could you please make a new issuer called British Asia for the British Trade Dollar? This is because the British Trade Dollar was mainly used in Britain’s Asian colonies. So could this be a subsection to Britain which would include: Hong Kong, British India, Malaya and British Borneo, and Ceylon? Thank you for your time and attention.

Trade coins are listed in the issuing country on Numista. Where these end up circulating is irrelevant because they were intended to circulate in other countries and it would be hard to implement that in the catalog structure other then mentioning the fact in the comment section.

On the same note that we don't list US dollars in all those countries that use them unilaterally.

Maybe we could list the US Trade Dollar and British Trade Dollar in a new section called Colonial Asia and it would include the different countries that would use them?

British Trade Dollars are listed under ‘Great Britain’ in Krause.
