Bug in messages [Risolto]

The new view of messages appeared some time ago. It has a bug and for unknown reasons there is no way to use the not spoiled previous completely working variant.

In which way is it possible to switch to previous view?

The bug is. Not all unread messages differ from the read ones on the page https://en.numista.com/messages/index.php?box=in

.  Only messages directly connected with swaps are in bold. All the rest and it does not matter if it was read or just arrived are presented in the same way, so there is no way to find out if the message was read or not. The only possibility is to read all messages again. 

Most probably this is not possible to solve at all. this feature comes with the new view.  The specialists know that it should not be changes that, what is working. That is why the link to previous view is required.

Your premise is false.  Swap messages and non-swap messages behave identically.

I suspect that the issue may be coming from the change in the notification emails. The email now links directly to the message itself rather than to the inbox. So as soon as the link gets clicked, the message will appear as read. I suspect that it may be an issue if someone misclicks but don't actually read the message or if the email software tries to open the link without any action from you (to generate a preview, to pre-load the website, to make a virus scan…)

Does any one else also noticed unread messages appearing as already read?

I sent now to you a PM, marked as unread (correct).
I saw the conversation with this PM and the PM is marked as unread (correct).

When you reply I test to read a previous PM in the conversion, with not read your PM.

In the list of sent messages the unread messages are in bold, okay  😅

it is not possible to use CTRL+F “unread” to find them, so I have to go through my 29 pages of messages to find some from 09/11 - 28/3 - 27/02 - 4/02 - 31/01 - 19/04/2020 - 17/04/2020: too tedious to continue 👎

In my case, I do not sure. I have some messages sent to another member many months ago and he not read, and yesterday was marked as read. Had the member read the messages or there is a bug? I do not know…

If I sent a message related to the swap to another user and after that I enter that swap the message I have sent is automatically marked as read. I have noticed that with my several swaps. Messages are in bold when I send and the same second I open that swap the message becomes as read.

Thank you! I just fixed that.

The problem is still present.

Since Friday I  received messages about swaps only. Among them I had not open 6 messages from collectors, so based on the time of arriving I know that these were not read. Out of these 6 three messages are in bold, others are in regular style (though they are opened).  It is expected that all 6 should be in bold. It should mean that the problem was not solved yet.

Most probably a site developer has to check site at Brave brouser. Mine is Version 1.22.70 Chromium: 89.0.4389.105 (Official Build) (32-bit) Maybe this will help.

I actually made more changes, which I believe will fix this issue.

The changes impact only new messages.
Previous messages which were incorrectly set as read will stay as-is.

Looks like it is solved. 
All messages that arrived since my last visit are in bold, now the inbox  is as usual.
