Nice stats! Would be nice also to see which parts of Numista are most visited and those who had most progression maybe?

There are many ways to browse Numista so it's difficult to make an analysis that would really make sense. Still I can share the most visited coin pages in November 2022 (and their progression compared to November 2021):

  1. N#1492 (+8.8%)
  2. N#1680 (-25.8%)
  3. N#4519 (-29.9%)
  4. N#112 (+369.9%)
  5. N#681 (+164.7%)
  6. N#134685 (+∞%)
  7. N#5063 (+86.1%)
  8. N#17107 (-40%)
  9. N#9 (+386.8%)
  10. N#679 (+158.1%)

Great to see the massive increase in Australian visitors , 80.4%. I like to think that is because I am also a member of many many Australian Facebook coin pages.

Lots of questions get asked about Aussie coins on those Facebook pages and I always try to reply to them with a link to one of our Numista coin pages, or a search link. Once collectors have seen what Numista can do they start looking around and using it.

Also I know certain people on here dislike the way some of the Australian mintage lines are arranged with PNC edition and coincard editions etc, but that is the way collectors here like to organise their collections.

It does no harm, encourages and is attractive to new Australian collector/members.

Mike,

you must admit, it makes it “heavy” to enter a normal circulation coin in a normal Australian collection? But that's how it is, and I accept the arguments from down under.

Take care, spring is there

Thanks Ole, appreciate your understanding. By the way it is Summer here, 38c days predicted for next week.

In Australia Summer starts on December 1st and runs until February 28th.

Hi Mike, so the days of “Total fire ban” are coming up. I remember the gas barbecues at the Yarra river in Melbourne could be used! Stayed down there from January to Mai in 1975, that's how I learned about the “Sunny side”, which I as a Dane hadn't really understood before coming to Australia, but I learned fast, that it's better to walk on the shadowy side, if possible!

Cheers

Ole

Great job Mike. It seems like getting involved is really paying in your case. Congratulations.

I also agree with you, you should continue giving the new collector/members the information they are looking for on the mintage lines etc. I do the same for Canada.

I plan to add some of the missing recent coins (2020-2023) for Canada in the next year, I hope I will also see an increase in new members and visitors for Canada.

Best regards,
