French Oceania [Risolto]

We have currently a referee for a dead country: French Oceania

Maybe time to delete it?

Not so fast, young man, I have 4 coins in my collection from French Oceania! So I want to be able to search for “French Oceania” and that's it. If numista manages to change that internally to something else, I don't care, but I want to keep the entry point as “French Oceania”!

If you have a new fancy Issuer name, I do not mind you use that, but don't spoil the logic of my collection, please don't be more catholic than the Pope.

All those constant Issuer changes are really impossible to follow, and as such I am against them all. I often have the feeling you just change for the fun of changing🤢

I think Indomini16 refers to the referee, not to the territory/country.

By other hand, ancient countries need referee still: an object can be added, modify or delete and somebody must control it.

First I am not flooding with bugs.

Secondly, can you be a bit more respectful? What is the aim of your message?

Is not Numista a cooperative catalog anymore and admins start to feel like they need to tell to people to stop reporting wrong site behavior?

I just ask to not use “bugs” to complain about features you dislike. I never prevented anyone about complaining, just please use right categories :-)

Sorry but I have nothing against the feature, I just feel we need to remove referee assignation to dead country, referee profile become inconsistent with the catalog…

So for me it’s a bug on this issuer. nothing else.

I believe it was fixed, hence marking as solved.

Yes i waited for Shadoko answer but as he didnt answered I allowed myself to change its attribution directly
