Option to set up reference by pages

Hello,

Right now we can put reference but some book are not mentioning specific number, and we are using pages.

The problem is the reference field is language independent and “page” is not written the same in all languages in Spanish by example it's pagina.

Can we develop a solution for the book using page numbers?

Example.

This only works, if the edition number is also given.

Let's decide not to do a Russian version for the word страница. 🤔🤣

For now only 3 languages are officially used, is there really an actual plan to add more ?

P.S. 

After more than 2 years, we still don't have a French (or Spanish) versions of the new guidelines. Before adding new languages we should finish translating the basic stuff. Don't you agree ?

I don't know, but in fact when we didn't had the Spanish version, it was correct to have "page", so it's better to plan the future and make that field really language independent than making things that will mess up in the future if we decide to go right or left.
