The fastest way to put my collection and my doubles on Numista?

Hi all, 

coming from decades of worldwide swapping now I'd really like to join you and start swapping with this nice community but putting  over 14.000 different kinds of coins in my collection could be a months job.

Do you have some tricks to make this hard job easier and faster? Do I have to enter in every coin's page and mark it as in my collection or can I do it faster in a whole country page checking for all the coins I have from there? 

The same question should be for my thousands of doubles. I am afraid I will never be able in completing this work!

Hello and welcome to Numista!

There is a faster way than searching for and opening each coin page.  Do a refined search that cover most of your coins.  For instance if you have a lot of standard circulation coins from Italy from the 20th and 21st century limit a search to that.  Then use the fast collection input option to enter your coins.  Like this:

What about the doubles? Can I do something similar?

It's the exact same procedure you just select yes on the section ‘For exchange’

If you have many different years/variants of the same coin type you can select the year at the top then use ‘save and add again’ this should save some time.

Thank you, in my collection there are mostly just different kinds, but in the swaplist I often have many years for the same kind of coin.

I am afraid it will take a very long time, probably I will try to do that  during the summer.
