I have just purchased the coin shown but can't find the mint for the stated year listed.

Yes I wondered that. The script on the reverse is more like KM#299 though. Would you agree?

After having studied the obverse more I have decided that it is KM#300 after all! The way the neck of the portrait extends to the edge of the coin makes me believe this a “Berlin” type.

The problem is that' you can't really compare handcut dies even less from different mints and years most of the time for these kind of coins. There are probably dozens of slightly different dies.
