There were notable surges in memberships from Argentina, Australia, Bulgaria, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Denmark, Ecuador, El Salvador, Georgian Republic, Germany, Iceland, Iran, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Peru, Poland, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Tanzania, Thailand, UK, Uruguay and Venezuela.
Bahrain, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Congo, Ethiopia, French Polynesia, Guatemala, Ivory Coast, Kuwait, Libya, Maldives, Mauritania, Mauritius, New Caledonia, Oman, Rwanda, Senegal, Togo, Tunisia, Yemen and Zimbabwe each gained one new member.
Mexico passed Malaysia for 20th rank.
Of the top 30 nations, Mexico grew the fastest in April (3.4% increase), while Portugal grew the slowest (1.0%). The USA grew by 1.3% and France grew by 1.1%.
Panama and Azerbaijan each added their 100th member.
