I have a couple of banknotes from Provisional Government of the Republic of China and saw most of the Japanese puppets states in China miss ruling Authority.

May I suggest, for the provisonal govement and the succesor the reformed govemnet and the other Japanese controlled Chinese areas. They should work for both banknotes and coins, but I only have banknotes from these, so that's what I prioritised:

Japanese occupation (1938-1945)

All added except “Puppet state of the Empire of Japan (1939-1940)” which does not seem a ruling authority to me, more a description of the issuer

I believe this “Puppet state of the Empire of Japan (1939-1940)” is Manchukuo

Hhanks, added

👍 I noticed Manchuko was not in the list, so quickly looked it up.

Pardon my lack of understanding.  I'm still not smart enough to determine which other notes fall into the Wang Jingwei regime ruling authority

Is it only the 51 here: Reformed Government of the Republic of China

and the 6 here: Meng Chiang ?

Or are there more notes in JPS that need the Wang Jingwei regime ruling authority?  There are approximately 38 additional notes in China, Japanese puppet states in

I'll get them all changed once I know the answer.

Manchukuo was actually a de-facto Empire in itself.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manchukuo .

Manchukuo had Puyi, as in the last Emperor of China, as its nominal monarch.

Manchukuo ceased to exist in late 1945 when Japan was defeated.

So we now have the following currencies:

It looks like the military notes (1937-1945) have been put under the Provisional Government whilst the issues of the Federal Reserve Bank (1938-1945) and Central Reserve Bank (1940-1945) have been put under the Reformed Government. The problem is that the Provisional Government and the Reformed Government were replaced by the National Government (sometimes refered to as the Reorganized Government) in 1940, which then absorbed Meng Chiang in 1941. Whilst Meng Chiang preserved its own bank, I can see no reason to attach all the  Federal and Central Reserve Banks' issues to the Reformed Government. Can I suggest we have a currency “Yen (1937-1945)” for the military issues and “Yuan (1938-1945)” for the issues of the Federal and Central Reserve Banks with ruling authorities “Provisional Government of the Republic of China", “Reformed Government of the Republic of China” and “Japanese Military Occupation” to be applied to the individual notes?
