Coins / Notes above MS60???? where to record? proof/specimen? MINT collectors

Pubblicazioni di 6 • visto 67 volte

Can someone please tell me how I can select MS62 and other high graded coins? right now it goes to UNC only.

Lesser important question I can not see a selection to record the items as a proof or specimen item (coinsandcanada.com does a great job of that, but it is only a price guide)

Same with bank notes.

Also with bank notes there is no place to put a 2006 Canadian $5 Notes that have Jenkins/Carney or Macklem/Carney.  All 2006 $5 seems to be just the jenkins/dodge varieties.

Am I seeing this incorrectly?

One ore thing, Is there a setting to get rid of all the different choices for notes?  I just need the year and signatures (correct ones) to check off (well and other things you already have)

Please get back to me soon.   This is quite important if The coin clubs in MB, or afew other provinces are suggested to use this web site.

Oh and will you add a part to add collection abilities for RCM Mint collector coins?  HUGE Market for that I think.

Hope to hear back from you very soon

Hello 🤖

Without pictures, it will be very difficult for anyone to help you. Could you please post clear pictures of each side of your item?

Please note that this is an automatic message. Feel free to ignore if it is not relevant.

Welcome to Numista. For simplicity sake, Numista provides the general grades G, VG, F, VF, XF, AU and UNC. When cataloging your coins you have the choice to ad either a personal (private) or public note beyond what is provided on the Numista page as a note to yourself or for all of the members of Numista to see. It would be quite cumbersome to list every possible grade on the Sheldon scale.  Numista is a work in progress and depends on it's members to note and request valid additions to the catalog whether it be coins, exonumia, or banknotes. Banknotes are a relatively new addition to the Numista catalog so there are many additions such as the one you pointed out that can be made there. Just make the request and the respective referee for that banknote or coin will review and validate or reject the request to be added to the catalog.  Be sure to provide the evidence which is needed to make the addition or change. I suggest you navigate the Numista site and become more familiar with it. Coins and Canada obviously is only focused on one nation. Numista is spread all over the world and understandably would not be as thorough as a site focused on only one concern. There is much to learn here.
