Value links, my collection page

The “My Collection” page is hands down my single favorite page on the site. It's attention grabbing, full of interesting and useful information, and has many ways to “drill down” to specific subsections of collections, such as the map links to filter by country, pie chart images that are also links to narrow down by grade, composition, or type, etc.

My recommendation is for additional link options to drill down to a couple of subsets of collections. Specifically, the set of coins with user defined values, the set of coins with a value estimated by the Numista site itself, and the set of coins with no value info available.

Numista's system has apparently (given the fact that it's able to specify percentages) identified the individual coins that have value information already. And it certainly has the list of coins in a collection.  So the list of coins without value info is easily generated by taking the complete list of coins in a collection and subtracting from it the lists of coins with values.

I'm no developer, but I have some small experience with coding, and I see no serious roadblocks preventing the creation of links to those lists.

For visual reference, I'm recommending making these words into links to the relevant coins:

And also adding a new heading (something to the effect) of “coins without value info” which lists a percentage of un-valued coins, which percentage is also a link to the relevant coins.

I do this with the excel export of my collection.  Quite easy to sort.

A useful workaround for many external use cases. But overly complicated for uses involving direct updates to coin entries in the Numista system itself. My main example is trying to add or update value info to coins already in the collection, but which was originally entered without personal value detail or grading info for estimated value. Cross refercing an external record will work, but is far less efficient than having the list in a link already in the system where updates will be performed.

I wasn't trying to downplay your suggestion just saying how I accomplish it without having it available in Numista.

Oh, I know. But it provided a good opportunity to elaborate on my reasoning.

Also, I have relatively little experience with the download function, and so I hadn't been aware, before your comment, that it even included value data at all. That's great information that I'm glad was shared here, thanks.
