Sorry if this has been suggested before, but I tought it could be nice to have a button beside the “Modify data” in the bottom of the request page, to preview the item's page, before sending the modification request.

I think this is good because:

1) Sometimes you won't notice what you missed, before seeing the page in full.

2) For larger request it's nice to see how it looks.

2.2) Especialy if it's a modification, and not a creation request, since you can edit a creation request after sending it. We can only cancel modification requests, not edit them.

3) Nice for bigger (modification) requests.

Hope that's something to be tought about, at least :)

I think this would be a good addition to the modification process.

I love the idea

Always look on the bright side of life!

Lots of upvotes there, this idea may get some traction… ;)

Yes, I also voted in favor. Being able to review modification requests before they are sent can avoid many errors that we make that are then impossible to edit. Great idea!!!😊

Would be great also for previsualization for spécial scripts like uncial!

Is it likely that it would be possible to implement a feature like this, I wonder.

Only Xavier can say, as he's the one who can analyze its cost :-)

Cost, always a significant factor!

I'm curious what "cost" means here? Time to implement? Money if it needs to be done by someone outside? Something else? 🤔

cost = only worktime for Xavier

Yes, I am all in, as it reduces time to process a request and potentially also reduces number of needed edits.

Yes, i have very often that i accidentally edit something that i didn't want to edit. Maybe another handy feature would be that your edits on that page are highlighted in the preview.

I created a separate request for that feature.
