There were notable surges in memberships from Andorra, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Cameroon, Cuba, Ecuador, Egypt, Finland, Kenya, Malta, Namibia, Paraguay, Peru, Serbia, Slovakia, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates and Venezuela.
Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Benin, Brunei, Burkina Faso, Cayman Islands, Chad, French Polynesia, Ghana, Guinea, Haiti, Honduras, Hong Kong, Iraq, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Madagascar, Martinique, Nicaragua, North Korea, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Rwanda, Saint Helena & Ascension, Saint Lucia, Samoa, Senegal, South Korea, Sudan, Tajikistan,Trinidad & Tobago, Tunisia, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Yemen, Zimbabwe each gained one new member.

Of the top 30 nations, Mexico grew the fastest in September (4.0% increase), while Russia grew the slowest (0.4%). The USA grew by 1.2% and France grew by 0.9%.
