I think the swap monitor must be improved

Hello, my wonderful numismatic collectors, how are you ? I hope you are all fine ;)

I am here again, I wrote some suggestions some weeks go but really didn´t get almost any feedback ;(  

Xavier, I also wrote you an email, but didn´t get any response ;(  Don´t know if you received it.

Well, I have to say I love this website, I love everything that has been done and is being done here, I love to have here my collection and being able to swap with people from all around the world. But I really think (as everything in this world does), this webpage needs an important improvement in the procedure of making swaps among collectors.

I really love to swap with people from everywhere, I find it as something fun and I like to spend my time on this. But, at the same time, I find a bit cumbersome and tedious all the procedure of making a swap in Numista, especially when you are trying to make a swap of big proportions ;(   I like to spend time on my coins, but sometimes I feel that the time spent on swaps could be reduced and that would be wonderful for all of us.

I am gonna list, just as an example, some of the improvements that could be developed in the swap monitor:

1. Updating the swap monitor when you introduce some change in your swaplist: Recently, I added the grades of the notes I have in my swaplist. However, they don´t appear in the notes and coins already included in a swap on negotiation. Yes, you can ask (and you have to) the other person to update their selection, but maybe something in the swap monitor should notice this, as now the coin or note is referred to a note or coin that no longer exists. The update is also related to those cases where you have received a coin or note which was included in the swap and you are not interested on it anymore. If the green tick which tells you that you already have that item appeared on the swap monitor, it would be awesome ;)
2. Including in the swap monitor the values that Numista gives to every coin and note. If we can see the values given by Numista to every coins and note when you click on it, why not seeing the value where it is most important to see it, during the swap, in the swap monitor? We all know these values are just an orientation, but it is a useful method for all of us and many of us use it, to make the swaps equal for both parts, to make both offers have the same value. Now, doing this takes a loooot of time. You have to download the excel file and then go coin by coin or note by note taking notes of the values they have. Why not placing their value on the item, just as its weight, and the sum of them?
3.  It is good an necessary that symbol in the form of an envelope telling you that item is already reserved, or you have asked for the same item in another swap, but if that included also a link to that other swap where that item is included, it would be aweeesome ;)  That way, you could check grades of those coins or notes and you could choose who to ask that item for. Now you have to work with your computer opening different tabs and it is not easy to do that when you have a swap of 200 coins ;(
4. Also, in the excel file, there should also be a column with the names of those other collectors you have asked for that same item ;)

Well, I think there are for sure some other interesting suggestions that can make the swap more satisfactory and quick for both parts, these are only some of them. Maybe you all have more.

I only leave them here with my best intention, trying to make this wonderful even more wonderful, if that´s possible ;)

Hello Sukane, my Spanish friend, I have been reading your proposals and, like you, I think there are things to improve in the swap monitor. 

I like the changes you propose, but I think that above all it would be important to be able to include the issue of Numista prices in the swaps. This is already used on other numismatic websites, and it makes it much easier to reach agreements more quickly. I think that Numista (its users) are somewhat reluctant to incorporate these changes, and I also think that this is, in part, because many users seem to intend to do business with their swaps, setting prices that escape all logic. Obviously, using the prices indicated by Numista would not benefit them. For me this is a hobby and I only want to get coins that I am missing, but there are users who I think do not think the same.

Let's see what the rest of the users think about incorporating any of these changes.

Yes.. I agree with U on everything U say. And I think it is not a critic to the website but a way to help it to be better, if that's possible. 

I don't know how it is in other websites, as I have only been here in Numista. But yes, now the way it is here, it takes a looot of time to close a swap and I have the feeling that my time is not being wasted on coins but on other issues which shouldn't be part of a swap. 

I send u my best hug and yes, I think that Numista is not making use of tools it has already put there, like values, ticks which show U already have that coin, etc, etc.. not showing them on the swap monitor.
