Is it possible to set up the French Republican calendar with the real months? I just submitted a request for this note dated 28/6/4 only to see the sixth month interpreted as June rather than Ventôse. I also noticed that this note from Year 4 is dated 1795, despite the full date falling in 1796 (see comment). I appreciate that calendars offset from the Gregorian are awkward but it would be useful to find a solution that can be applied elsewhere.

A precise calendar is not useful for coins as only the date of the year is mentionned on coins, then for banknotes the complete date is inscribed.
I used the republican calendar for years during genealigic studies but even in genealogy most of people prefer to refere to the gregorian calendar in order to have a better view of the time frame
I use this conversion website between republican and gregorian calendar.
The begining of Year-4 is in 1795, then the end is in 1796
We could convert all the dates to the Gregorian calendar for the year lines and instead add a note on the individual Republican dates. However, since we have the Republican calendar available, I hoped we could set it up properly.
