Currencies from Reunion (Franc and New Franc) [Risolto]

Hi!

I would like to request a small adjustment to the dates of the Reunion currencies (banknotes).

The first issues of the "Institut d'Émission des Départements de’Outre-Mer" between 1964 and 1965 for Reunion (P#51 to P#53) were still in the "Franc" currency. Between 1967 and 1971 (P#54 to P#56), emissions were based on the "New Franc" currency.

Therefore, I request an adjustment to the dates, as follows:
Franc (1816-1964)
New Franc (1967-2001)

I'm no expert but it seems CFA franc was currency between 1945-1975

Very similar case (and could not even be different) to the previous forum in which we discussed French Guiana.

There is information on that website about a "Franc de la Réunion", with the same period of use of the Franc as a monetary unit (1816-1975).

It would then be a case of identifying each Franc by its region of circulation (different French territories) or leaving "Franc" as a single issuing unit.

I continue to vote for the second option. =)

The cirrent options are:

Franc (1816-1964)
New Franc (1967-2001)

So what is the right currency for this note as 1965/1966 is not covered by the current options.

Hmm, It's true. Even in the first message I had mentioned this 1965 issue. 
 

I believe that if we extend the Franc period until 1965, we will have the problem solved.
