Hi

Would be super useful if N# number on entries was copied in clipboard on click, like we recently implemented for threads post direct links

Little Up @Xavier @dzmitry.huletski :-)

N# on Forum (example) currently moves to the catalogue entry card in the same window. Do you mean, in addition to this action, copy the catalogue entry URL to the clipboard?

It would not be obvious in UI, as the page is changed to a new one. Does adding a copy URL button on the catalogue entry card make more sense? What is the use case?

Could you please clarify the use case indeed?
What should be copied? Just the number (e.g. “123”) or also with the N# (e.g. “N# 123”)?

@Xavier Sorry: just the number
Usecase is for deduplication tool, copying ID in URL, etc: when I need to get the number, it's sooo annoying to always copy paste also a blank space before and/or after the number (varyiing depending on string length); same with yearline IDs btw

Double clicking and ctrl+c seems to me simpler than background coding

Yes I agree but that's precisely the issue: double-clicking + CTRL C always include a blank space at the beginning and/or the end of the actual number, making it impossible to use it as is and forcing me to remove manually the space

It's why I suggested a copy button, but if there is anyway to prevent this behavior when double-cliking, I'd be as happy :-)

Hello,
I'm a bit reluctant to add additional buttons to the coin pages, which are already quite crowded. I implemented the alternative solution that no spaces will be selected when you select the N# number.
