New Issuer for Several Countries? [Risolto]

The comments section of Medal - United Nations (Afghanistan) - Afghanistan – Numista says these medals were authorized by the United Nations. Should each country in this series have United Nations added as an issuer? If so, I have a lonnng list. 😄

This has been on my long list of things to look at. I personally do not think these belong in the individual countries. According to the reference Franklin Mint Issues (FM mint mark) they produced 41 with United Nations spelled out in 5 languages. Then 10 in different medals (FM mint mark) with peace in 5 languages on one side and United nations in 5 languages on the other side. Then there is another set that has been introduced by Mr. Midnight that has United Nations (FM mint mark) and UNA-USA above the UN emblem. To me they all belong under the USA. Then you have a set produced by John Pinches Medallist (JP mint mark) and there is a comment that it has 135 in that set. No reference for John Pinches Medallist Ltd that I know of. I think all of them belong under UK.  For me, it would be like taking all of this series and dividing them up to all the countries just because their name is on it. Franklin Mint minted theirs for their USA subscribers, and John Pinches Medallist minted theirs for their UK subscribers.

I think the only Issuer need is United Nations which exists. Also I think Drab and I have already begun the process of request to move any. I am working on the Franklin Mint ones and most were already in the USA.

It exist, but not for the USA or UK. 

I'll be moving the John Pinches U.N. medals to the U.K.
