 Just now the error started, where clicking on unread Forum topics, 

instead of the topic opening on that same page, it opens in a new tab. 

Never seen that before. I am on Google Chrome.

 That was a waste of reporting time, as while typing the above it now works again. 

But will leave the topic open in case it happens again.

 Briefly it happened again - even this Reply box opened in a new tab. 

Computer went crazy, and had to switch off. A few minutes later it is alright.
