Adapt the FAQ “I found a duplicate in the catalogue. What shou…?” to the changes

Last Thursday the topics for report duplicate pages of coins, banknotes and exonumia were locked, and their functions were taken over by the requests about pages of coins, banknotes and exonumia:

We decided to get rid of these long and sometimes confusing threads. I will ask moderator to lock it. When requesting a removal of duplicate, please open new thread and mark it as a ticket for Request about a coin page.

The FAQ article https://en.numista.com/help/i-found-a-duplicate-in-the-catalogue-what-should-i-do-22.html should reflect the new way of working.

I changed the text in the Spanish version:

Si viste un duplicado en el catálogo (lo que significa que el mismo objeto aparece varias veces en diferentes fichas), informa en el hilo destinado a ello: abre una solicitud en el foro correspondiente para modificar las fichas del objeto:

and the new links in all versions (English/French/Spanish).

The English and French text must be updated. I guess @Compendiumcan do it. 😁

Perhaps the links can be hidden in the text. For example, in Spanish:

Si viste un duplicado en el catálogo (lo que significa que el mismo objeto aparece varias veces en diferentes fichas), informa en el hilo destinado a ello: abre una solicitud en el foro correspondiente para modificar las fichas del objeto: monedas, billetes o exonumia.

Yes, can be more easy of understand than now.

Also can be checked the checkbox “requesting the modification of a coin in the catalog” using a link similar to https://en.numista.com/forum/ecrire_post.php?f=46&type_coin=1 but the system must accept the variable type_coin. If this is implemented, can be used in links “open a ticket” of mint, catalog, tag and printer.
