Thanks for the help.

£5 Liri note of 1990s type issued just before Euro changeover in 2008.

Heres the series of £2, 5 and 10 - There was also a £20, but I don't have that. The £1 became a coin in 1991.

The whole series was entirely in Malti, yet English was still the main language there!

I love coins. Especially silver, gold and anything really old.

They are a really nice design. I'm looking for the 10 if anyone has one to spare….

Well I wish you best of luck. The Maltese Liri had one of the highest values of any European Currency, with a Liri worth around £1.30 sterling in 2007. The face value alone of that note was $45 in NZD.

I was lucky to get the 3 of them for $70NZ, personally I am looking for the £20LM myself. That note saw little use, given its high face value.

Conversion to Euro in 2008 saw a Liri worth about £2.33 or so.

These minisheets show you how high the Liri was flying!

It's a little out of my league alright.  Some western European countries notes are hard to come by even in F or XF. My goal is at least one note from every European country which I've reached but  Iceland and Malta also Netherlands seem hard to find. Old Irish notes are crazy expensive. 😥
