Hello Members of Numista

Since Numista has an objective to translate Numista into many languages, it has surely missed a beautiful and elegant language - Arabic, A Middle-Eastern language spoken by over 450 million people

If Numista opens an Arabic section, it would cater to a large Arabic-speaking audience who are well-fledged numismatists but unaware of a website like Numista in which they can expand their horizons even more. If you look at the Swap map of Saudi Arabia, it is nearly empty but the fun fact is that there is a numismatics community (@1440sans on Instagram and Twitter) that has over 200 members but none of the members even have an idea of a website like Numista because the only language they know is Arabic

I, @Dr_Teek, and @Mhhmbm have agreed to translate it

I was thinking of starting with the Arab countries only like Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Yemen, Umayyad, etc., and then making it live to test the traffic as translating everything would take a lot of time and effort

معًا يمكننا توسيع مجال علم العملات ليشمل المتحدثين باللغة الجميلة التي تسمى اللغة العربية

(Translation - Together, we can open the field of numismatics to the speakers of a beautiful language called Arabic)

Arabic was obviously on top of our languages list but it has a high technical cost for @Xavier and @dzmitry.huletski to open Numista Interface to scripts written from right to left, its why it was  not possible yet :-)

As mentioned by Compendium, the website is unfortunately not technically ready to be translated into Arabic. It currently supports only left-to-right languages. Significant developments are needed before we can add a right-to-left language.

I enjoyed working with Arabic while studying the numismatics of the Golden Horde! Hope, Numista will be technically ready to implement it one day.
