Cyber Security - General question

I've been merrily clicking links all afternoon on the various pages I've come across, but it's occurred to me that this may be a bit dangerous as there is some potential to accidentally download a bug.  

Q - How protected are we from this sort of thing happening on Numista (but, please don't give too much away)?

One risk that can't fully be mitigated is external links. An external resource or advertiser link could be good when added but the remote site could be compromised later.

But I expect you were  mostly talking about pages on numista.com.
