Proposal about standartization of the names of forum topics

Hello everybody!

I think it would be helpful to update the forum policy in regards of topic titles.

My proposal would be to name the topics according to the following scheme:

(country name),(denomination),(year, if applicable), (question briefly). 

The last part is for example: evaluation, original or not, mint error, etc.

In case if somebody wants to ask for identification it should probably be: 

(country, or year, or any information the person has), coin identification.

I think this system will make the catalog more transparent, because it will be easier to find the topics that you are interested in or you know a lot about.

This system is used by many different forums, for example by russian language forums, where I also participate sometimes. Some of the examples are: coins.su and staraya-moneta.ru.

We already have rules not to use ‘Help’, ‘what coin’, 'how many monies', when a coin was identified to modify the topic, to provide all the physical properties and images. Now see how many people follow those.

And if you want moderators to tidy up the threads you will see many leaving faster then you can write “f*** that shit I'm out”.

Another approach would be to add additional optional fields between the subject and message to encourage people to add the information.

• Country: ________________ (Standard Numista selection or free text)
• Denomination: ________________ (Probably free text)
• Year: ________________ (any number with optional calendar specifier)
• Link to Numista coin page: ________________ (must be a Numista item link)

Encourage the information to be added with the prompts.
