Updating French comments to English [Risolto]

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if it is allowed to update French comments (like the ones here: N#95899 - see picture as well) to English to make it more clear for the English-speaking visitors of the pages in question. This is, after all, the English version of the forum, so it would make sense to have all information in English in stead of French.

Yes, of course. The French comments are only shown on the year lines when there aren't any English comments.  (Not sure how Spanish, German, etc. comments will be shown if there are no English comments.)

Just edit the page and add year line comments in English.   The French ones will not be shown.

It is similar: If there are no comments in Spanish, German… (now there never are), the English are seen (if there are no English, the French are seen).

I meant what happens if there are no English but there are French, Spanish, German. Which one is used?  In other words, what is the order of priority?

Now we have not fields in Spanish or German, only in English and French. English has more priority than French for Spanish/German interface.

What will be the order of priority when more languages are used in fields? I do not know…🤔
