What do you mean?
Just a thing I like as developer.
Stackexchange is fundamentally a community where questions and answers are exchanged. The community itself votes positively or negatively on questions, answers, or contributions. In short, you earn reputation points and, consequently, privileges. For example, a community member with a certain reputation can also edit or propose changes that a newly registered person cannot.
In my opinion, this mechanism or something similar would have the following advantages:
- It incentivizes quality content
- It combats bots and spammers, who are quickly downvoted
- It would allow for more contributions, for example, to the catalog: imagine if certain catalog changes were automatically approved by people with a certain level of reputation.

The downside to all this: a lot of work
And it might make some people unhappy.
