I suggest to make a search filter to hide “sets only” / “BU” / proof coins in the search results. For example, when I search for 1 euro cent coins minted in 2024, the results list contains Finland. Of course, no normal Finnish 1 euro cent coins were minted this year, only 1000 “BU” coins. But there is no way to know this until you open the individual coin page. If I want to check all the countries this task becomes quite tedious.

(There are already many suggestions concerning “sets only” coins in the forum, but I was unable to find a post with the same or similar suggestion.)

I think this is just a variation of this suggestion which was rejected.

This is the suggestion where the option is tracked. Already opened, but not withheld for 2024

Maybe next year as it has quite a high support!

Just call me Bram

No new swaps for the moment, still too many half-ongoing swaps to clean up!

If we can finally address individual year keys they could have data about the indivual reference (like it's planned for 2024) but maybe also the circulation status (yes/no or more detailed: Year only issued in sets/BU/Proof/a fancy shmanzy other kind of finish).

Unwilling to wait for implementation of this feature, I tried to write a script which uses the API. It verifies the results one by one.

It is true that “comments” section (in year lines) is somewhat messy.

In order to distinguish simple 2 euro cents from proofs and sets-only coins, I had to filter out undesirable year lines by their comments. After some trials and errors, it turned out that I need to perform case-sensitive search of “BU” and “BE” and case-insensitive search of the following:

sets only
proof
in sets
euro lots unc
blister
unc set
a suprimer
supprimer

It seems likely that other coins would need different filters.
