4,488 new users joined Numista in August 2024, increasing the total member tally by 1.8%. This is the highest largest monthly tally in Numista's history, 10% higher than the previous record set just last month!
This August's new members added 104,000 coins into their collections. This tally excludes one French user who cataloged more than 2.8 million coins! 20% of August's new users appear to be active and 9% are not publicly visible.
4,285 of August's new members selected a nation. 718 are American, 587 are French, 261 are Indian, 236 are Filipino, 184 are South African, and 182 are British. 154 nations are represented this month, and 88 of them have added at least one coin to their collections.
There were notable surges in memberships from Afghanistan, Angola, Belgium, Cayman Islands, El Salvador, Estonia, France, Germany, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lebanon, Madagascar, Mexico, Nepal, North Macedonia, Peru, Pitcairn Island, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, USA and Uruguay.
American Samoa, Anguilla, Aruba, Bahrain, Benin, British Virgin Islands, Brunei, Burundi, Cambodia, Central African Republic, Chad, Fiji, Ghana, Gibraltar, Guadeloupe, Guinea, Haiti, Iceland, Iraq, Jamaica, Kosovo, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Libya, Macau, Maldives, Martinique, Mongolia, Mozambique, New Caledonia, Oman, Qatar, Reunion, Sudan, Tajikistan, Trinidad & Tobago, U.S. Virgin Islands, Uzbekistan and Western Sahara each gained one new member.

Of the top 20 nations, Mexico grew the fastest in August (6.6% increase), while Italy grew the slowest (0.8%). The USA grew by 1.5% and France grew by 1.7%.
