I have just now wasted 15 minutes of my time trying to register an auction. Now, of course, why would a bitty eBay-like site from NZ, like Trade Me, be included with all the other auction sites listed? Then I noticed eBay is not listed, either.  Surely, registering bone-fide auctions from sites like eBay, and Trade Me in New Zealand would lead to more accurate, ‘real’ prices within the Catalogue.

Now, please explain to me why I am wrong.

 Thanks,  AY

You can yell and shout as much as you want, but for starters, do you have permission to use the data and pictures of every seller on eBay and Trade Me? You can't ask eBay or Trade Me since they are not the owners of the pictures. You have to ask permission from every individual seller whose data you want to use.

Who is shouting? I'd use caps for that. Sure. I would ask someone but that's just me. I think this is over before it began.

Also consider this, if I sell a coin by auction myself, on either of these platforms, I own that data and visual material. It is a bonafide auction, and the result of that auction would be legitimate in creating a real-life contribution to the prices in Numista's catalogue.

You were. But you quickly edited your original post because you knew it was wrong.

Well, then let's be clear. I wasn't shouting, by using caps, I said something that was offensive to you, and likely to others,  so, realising this, I edited it out, as I have no wish to offend you or anyone else. Ever. I apologise. AY

 Edited for clarity and apology.
