Creation request

Hi

Just a thought. "Sometimes" I add extra data to the piece, before approving publication. These updates (before publishing) do not reflect them selves on the page "Creation request". If this would be so, then the other user, who actually sent that new request, could see which data was added. I believe this could affect his/hers future actions to voluntarily add more data to the request, before submitting it. I see this as a natural form of learning, instead of making extra small (multiple?) requests, which may even infuriate this user or make him/her feel, that this is too much of a hassle for next time to deal with.

I would also mention that I have sometimes sent back some very poor “new coins” requests for enhancement (using “ask for editing” button) and very often, such “resubmital” requests are ignored because senders don't even take a look at their requests (they work in “fire and forget” mode). Such “resubmital” requests shall also be accompagnied by an automatic PM telling the forumers that something is expected from them.

Keep in mind, that some users might be interested/motivated minors and are not yet so versed at first requests. Not saying this was the case. But if so, as a referee I believe that sometimes you have to set aside your frustrations and do your best to help any user getting better at their requests. As stated earlier, the requests for additional data should be respectful, I usually tend to send only one such request per page. The other thing is, when the user clearly ignores your willingness to cooperate. Lately I am teaching my kid on Numista ways, and yes… this takes time…

Yes, I try to be polite… to educate newcomers and many times I accept “imperfect” forms. What I mean by very poor are forms with just a title , no picture, not even a slight lettering so really useless forms. In such a case it would be appreciated that this triggers a PM. This was the objectives of this message, let's go back to the topic.

OK. But the best thing would be IMHO to have a check box that triggers an auto PM each time we ask for a modification (either because we "bounce" a creation request or just because we add some comments asking for extra details). Referee comments are too often ignored and adding such a feature would be very valuable. 

In the previous table the information “Notifications (47)” would already make it a little easier, even if most of them are thanks

It's the same with PMs, you have to go through line by line and page after page to find the messages in bold letters.

In my messages sent I note some dating from 2020 and 2022 for members who are still present, who have still been connected for less than a month and a week.
