I have just noticed (when exporting my coin list) that every coin I have entered into my collection since 2021 has been recorded as having a buying value of zero, which I never inputted myself. I have to admit I am still using Legacy mode when inputting my coins (find this mode easier to work with), and had the following thought…
Surely and hopefully this value isn’t being recorded and being used to produce the estimated value of the coin?
Because if it is, there is an obvious skewing and misrepresentation of the results. As a simple example, one person buys a coin at €50 and enters the value, I also buy the coin at €50 but don’t enter the value from Legacy mode and it is recorded as €0, however then its worth is calculated as €25!
Not sure this is actually going to be the case, because I’m hopeful that the 0s are ignored, but I was just concerned to see the 0 recorded when adding a coin from Legacy mode.
Any thoughts, reassurances, etc?
