Maybe I will become unpopular now, but I will ask if the Tatarstan banknotes could be split by colours? Since the guidelines states different banknotes are deffined as “Significant design differences visible to the naked eye in daylight (…) Differences in the orientation, size, or position, or colour of a device" and these notes:

N#205134

N#217885

N#217887

N#220242

Exist in different colours, but are grouped under the same page.

Should they be split according to colour? I'll argue to comply with guidelines they should be split and for help/ease of identification.

Hi Jacob! Now I'm the one who doesn't want to seem unpopular...haha

The 100 Roubles records are divided into just two, with the main differences: size and year of issue. I believe this was done to avoid many similar records (and with the same Pick code), with only differences in colors. For other values, something similar happens.

In that case, I think we can keep the records together; understanding what the guide says, but taking into account the good organization we already have in the aforementioned records.

Let's wait a few days to see if other opinions emerge here.

Vladimir

You are abolutey wrong! If this major difference is not a reason for split , what is? I can't belive that a master referee thinks that a ‘good organization’ is a reason not to split those banknotes. I noticed that most of your replies to similar posts are similar to this one. Why do we have guidlines then? I've worked a lot too creating this banknote catalogue, but I have to say that the way Numista is organizing it is wrong on so many levels.

Hi Alexis. I always think a few times before responding to messages with the tone you wrote.

Here in our community we must always value cordiality and respect between members, whether they are users, referees or administrators. And that's how I intend to continue with my interactions here.

We can always defend our points of view with consistent arguments and this is essential for our catalog to be constantly evolving. I hope we can continue this level of interactions and discussions. =)

Cordially,
Vladimir.
