In the box of general search we can write keywords to do a special search of objects:
https://en.numista.com/help/how-can-i-search-the-catalogue-99.html
- /new7/ to search for items added during the past 7 days. You can change the number of days to another number. If you do not write any number, the default is 7 days.
- /no-picture/ to search for items for which Numista doesn't have a picture of the obverse and/or the reverse.
- /small-pictures/ to search for items for which Numista has only a small picture of the obverse and/or the reverse.
- /missing-unabridged/ to search for items for which Numista doesn't have the unabridged legend for the obverse and/or the reverse.
- /unverified/ to search for item pages not marked as verified by a referee.
- /incomplete/ to search for item for which the referee didn't mark the year list as complete.
But this method is not user-friendly:
- the user need remember the keywords and
- the keywords depend on the interface language (for example, to search for items added during the past 7 days, the keyword is “/new7/” in English, “/nouveau7/” in French, “/nuevo7/” in Spanish, and so on).
My suggestion is to create a new filter, a select box, with the options write in natural text in the language of the user, and leave the keywords (only one text for each) for internal use of the system.
Special search:
- Items added during the past 7 days
- Items without some picture
- Items with small picture
- Items without unabridged legend
- Items not marked as verified
- Items with year list not marked as complete
Note: I published a related suggestion https://en.numista.com/forum/topic139244.html but the current one goes a step further.
